      Instead of installing Gujarati font in mobile, What I did in my app is as follow:
      Go to computer font (I’ve windows 7) and copy shruti font.
      Paste it in android assets folder.
      Use it in TextView.

      Following is a code that can help you:

      TextView detailText = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.detailText);
      Typeface font = Typeface.createFromAsset(getAssets(), “SHRUTI.TTF”);
      detailText.setTypeface(font);

        I was trying to install shruti, but it won’t work in my Samsung gala I tab. If you have any other option let me know.Appriciated your help in advance.

    hi Vikas.im working on a final year project. pls can u help with a sample app that can capture image from camera,finger print from reader and some fields like first_name,last_name and store this data in sqlite db on my android mobile device.
